God created you for a reason.

He had you in mind when He created you on purpose, with intention. You are not here to suffer or barely make it through life. That is not your portion. You will live and shall not die. The promises He has placed within you will come to fruition, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now.

So, hold on.

You may have had your foot slipping for a season, and that’s okay it happens. But God is saying to stand back up and hold on. This part isn’t the end of your story. The battle is mine, says the Lord. When you have done all that you can do, when you’ve cried, prayed, tried, and you feel like you have nothing left… just stand. That’s enough. He will fight for you. I know sometimes it feels like He’s quiet. Like you’re talking and not hearing anything back. But even in those moments where He seems silent, please hold on and hold on knowing that He will never leave you nor forsake you, not even in the parts of your life that feel confusing and messy or unsolveable.

Come out of agreement with those negative core beliefs. Come out of covenant with those negative vows you made in moments of pain where you tell yourself “I’m not enough” thoughts you didn’t even realize you agreed to. That voice that tells you you’re not good enough, not capable enough, not worthy enough? That’s not rooted in Truth.

The best way to counter negative thoughts is to speak the opposite. Open your mouth and declare something different.

Where the enemy says you can’t, you speak and say that you can do all things through Christ. Where he tells you you’re lacking, you remind yourself that you are already equipped. Where it says you’re unworthy, you declare that you are chosen.

Don’t just think it, say it. Because life and death really are in the power of your tongue. And when you forget everything else, come back to the Word.
