Hey y’all, sometimes things fall apart and come together at the same time. It is one of those mysteries of life that feels confusing while you are in it, but makes perfect sense when you look back. It can be hard to recognize the new thing God is doing when the residue from your past still lingers and tries to cloud your vision. You might feel like you are taking one step forward and two steps back, but even in that tension, there is growth happening beneath the surface.
I just want you to be encouraged to keep moving forward despite the setbacks, the waiting seasons, and the moments that make you question if you are really progressing. When life feels like it is out of control or everything seems to be happening all at once, pause and be still. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that stillness does not mean stagnation. Sometimes, being still is the most powerful thing you can do because it allows God to move where your striving cannot.
Stay present with yourself. Do not punish yourself for not being where you thought you would be, financially, physically, emotionally, or even in your career. Every season has a purpose, even the ones that feel slow or uncertain. In an instant, things can shift and turn around for your good. A little movement in the right direction is still movement. Celebrate that.
A tiny leak can cause a flood over time, and in the same way, small acts of faith, discipline, and courage can lead to overflow. Keep showing up for yourself. Keep trusting God with what you cannot see yet. Things will settle in time, and when they do, you will realize that everything that felt heavy was actually shaping you for what is next.
“Surrender your anxiety. Be still and realize that I am God. I am God above all the nations, and I am exalted throughout the whole earth.”
Psalms 46:10 TPT
