He may not come when you want Him, but He’s always right on time. I don’t know about y’all, but I have been given so much grace. I have had so many “ram in the bush” moments when it seemed like there was no way out of my circumstances. Has God been coming through for you lately, even if it was at the very last moment? That buzzer-beater blessing? That breakthrough you were desperate for? I believe that if He is doing it for me, He is also doing it for my neighbor. He is in the neighborhood, y’all.
“Then Abraham looked up and saw a ram caught by its horns in a thicket. So he took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering in place of his son. Abraham named the place Yahweh-Yireh (which means “the Lord will provide”). To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”
Genesis 22:13-14 NLT
Abraham was told to sacrifice his son, and right before he did, God provided a ram in the bush in response to his obedience. If you find yourself in a place where only God can step in, be encouraged that He will provide. We all face situations that require His intervention, moments when we say to ourselves, “If God does not step in, I do not know what will happen.” These can be health concerns, financial struggles, job challenges, or many other trials. I believe we go through these moments to strengthen our dependence on Him. May we remain humble and give God glory for His continual, undeserved, right on time blessings. For anyone needing a ram in the bush, I pray that God will supply every need and guard your heart from worry and anxiety.
