Don’t Leave the Field Yet

Time feels like it has flown this month, it seems like it was just the first, and I have a feeling August will be flying by. So, let’s get into it. I’ve been thinking about how we can be in places that don’t support our growth or healing. Sometimes it’s the season we’re in, but I also believe it has just as much to do with our environment. Like a plant, where you’re rooted matters. I’ve had seasons where I tried to create opportunities, make room for new connections, and build something meaningful, even with the help of people who had influence, yet nothing came of it. But once I was removed from that environment and placed in one where I could actually thrive, everything began to shift. It feels like I’ve entered a season where everything is being cultivated, and the seeds I once planted are finally beginning to produce. I went through a hard four-year dry spell, but I’m thankful to now be in a position to receive what God has been preparing for me. I’m writing this for anyone who’s been waiting, hoping, planting, and still hasn’t seen the results. Don’t give up, nothing you’ve done has been in vain. Before I entered into my new location God continued to speak over me that I would receive the joy of the Lord and that I had grieved long enough. That He did not create me to suffer. So stay encouraged my friend, and know that you will make it to the other side unscathed.

“Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee. They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing!”

Psalms 126:5-6 TPT

This scripture truly touches the depths of my spirit. I cried so many tears only God saw, yet He has been faithful to allow me to make it to the other side. May we not get weary in well doing.
