Hey y’all, let me just say I hope your day is going great. It is Sunday, a new and fresh week, and it is a new, unpromised day, so let us rejoice. Let’s get into it. Sometimes you must lose yourself to find yourself again. Sometimes it is the most heart-wrenching seasons, you know, the ones that nearly had you on life support, fighting for your life and possibly your mental sanity, that caused you to break down everything within you that was never meant to stay. All of it comes undone so the best version of you can be rebuilt. It is as if your old self was merely a scaffolding for your new self to emerge; the you that no longer people-pleases, the you that no longer shrinks back to make others comfortable, the you that no longer sits down and takes what’s being dished out to you. Hear me when I say I know it was a painful season; the days, months, and even years of fighting, all while feeling like you were losing yourself simultaneously. You couldn’t see it at the time, but you were becoming. Becoming who you ought to be in the end. The old version of yourself would not have been able to maintain the blessings you now carry, and that includes not just the physical things, but the people, the favor, the access, the opportunities. You may have lost a lot—time, money, resources, and even a sense of direction. But trust me, you are on the right track, even if you cannot see it right now. I pray that you know all is not lost. There is still so much to be discovered, but you must keep moving forward, day by day, step by step, in order to find it. If no one has told you lately, I am proud of you. Proud of your strength, your willingness to try again, your heart, and your faith. I believe that greater is on the way, and I’m not only speaking of a monetary blessing, but of greater purpose, greater vision, and gifts you haven’t even seen fully revealed yet. You stewarded the little that you had with faith and fervor, and I believe more is coming. And this version of you? This version won’t fumble the blessing.
“Commending his servant, the master replied, ‘You have done well, and proven yourself to be my loyal and trustworthy servant. Because you have been a faithful steward to manage a small sum, now I will put you in charge of much, much more. You will experience the delight of your master, who will say to you, “Enter into the joy of your Lord!”
Matthew 25:21 TPT
Sometimes the pressing, the shaking, and the beating come to release the anointing that is within us. The strength we never knew we had. The strength we did not know we would need for our new season. It doesn’t always feel good while it’s happening, but something powerful is being cultivated in the tension. Every breaking is birthing something. Every stretch is preparing us for more. Look in the mirror with your head held high and proud of who you have become. I know that I am. Blessings.
“See, I have purified you in the furnace of adversity, but not like silver—I have refined you in the fire. “
Isaiah 48:10 TPT
