God can reach us no matter where we are—deep in sin, rebellion, searching for Him… He always finds us. There is no where we can run that He is not there. He desires to reach us, to touch us, and see our hearts. This is also how He stands at the door and knocks (Revelation 3:20). That touches me deeply to know the lengths God will go to reach us and get our attention. That is true unwavering love.
You are never too far gone for Him to reach you. You are not too messed up. You are not too messy. You are not too undisciplined. You are not too complicated. You are not too … YOU. We are all so mysteriously complex and yet, His desire is to reach us. We must ask ourselves, what will we do when He attempts to reach us? You are worthy of God’s love, His presence, and His fullness that He desires for you to experience. I pray you truly receive this message that even in your mess, God desires you and not only that—He loves you right where you are at. This may be hard to fathom or even receive, but I genuinely pray that you would pause and receive this. Think on times in your life where you just knew it was God. Where you saw Him provide a ram in the bush for you. When you saw Him do the impossible and you probably weren’t deserving. When you were on the brink of a mental collapse and yet He did something—brought someone in your life just to touch you and show you His light. Lean in, not away. There is no devil, no demon, that can hinder what God wants to do in your life. God loves you deeply. He created you. You are His. Open your heart again to receive Him. He is waiting for you.
Romans 8:38-39 TPT
“So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!”
